Call of Duty on Windows 10 - mixed results

I tried posting to Activision's user community, but could not figure out how to respond to a post that was already there.

So, for those wondering if CODUO works with Windows 10...

I originally tried performing an ISO install onto a laptop, so that I didn't have to worry about breaking my desktop/gaming machine.  In short, I could not get it to work.  BUT... I was playing online with my Windows 7 desktop, and one of the guys that I regularly play CODUO with said it worked fine. 

So, I decided to trust him with the idea being that... maybe it takes a better machine/video card???  I don't know.  Either way, I took a chance.  In short, CODUO is working on my gaming PC which is now running Windows 10.

To recap:

I did NOT get it to work on my laptop - I tried lots of things (drivers, admin rights, every compatibility mode); I continued to get some sort of buffer error.. Even ran filemon/regmon to try and resolve - no joy.

But, it worked on my PC (specs above).
